Jenny Coco Chang

Jenny Coco Chang has over 13 years of media and strategic communications experience for progressive issues and organizations. As a broadcast journalist, she worked for a number of international media outlets, including Young Asia Television in Sri Lanka, Media Corporation of Singapore, and STAR-TV in Hong Kong SAR of China.
 
As an independent producer, Coco produced documentaries for CNN Asia, National Geographic Channel and World Wildlife Fund. As a communications strategist, she played a critical role in helping the PBS Foundation raise over $20 million dollars for programming and services that benefited 356 public television stations across the country. Coco has also developed effective communications and new/traditional media outreach strategies for a number of progressive organizations to enhance campaign efforts on issues such as animal rights, human rights, national education, public healthcare, social and economic justice, urban homelessness, and women’s rights.
 
Coco has a Masters in International Policy and Practice from George Washington University and a Masters in Public Communications from American University. She also serves as an active Disaster Relief and Public Affairs volunteer with the American Red Cross of Greater New York.
